Students' exchange with Italy

On 19th January 2017 at 19:50 some of our school students were waiting in Kanepi bus station for their Italian exchange students who came from Saluzzo and among the other waiters was also me. My exchange student's name is Michela and when the bus arrived then I was nervously looking for her but then I finally found her and we got home by car. That evening we just had dinner, talked and then went to sleep.

On 20th January, Friday, all Italians visited our school and went to some of our lessons, we had much fun in Estonian lesson where they did some puzzles and listened some presentations, I think they liked it. There was also the basketball match at 14:15 and it was also fun. When the day was over then we had to prepare for the Estonian-Italian party which started at 17 o'clock. The party was very awesome and I liked it very much, all the games and the disco at the end.

On Saturday we started our day in the school where we listened to a presentation about Kuperjanov Infantry Battalion where we couldn't go unfortunately and the most exicting thing for me that day were the snakes, I had never seen or touched a snake before and now I want to do it again, it was very awesome experience after that we went to Haanja where we visited Suur Munamägi and also went on a little hike with snowshoes, it was and exhausting day but we still likd it.

Sunday was the day when we needed to do something fun ourselves. I decided to go to Science Centre AHHAA in Tartu with Michela and also Kaarel and Federico came with us. My mother drove us there and it was very, very interesting and not only for me but for them too, they loved to see different things and how they work. After the AHHAA we went to eat something and then also visited the shopping centre. When we got back home then we had some tea, watched TV and had some nice gossips.

We had another trip to Tartu on Monday but it was a bit different one. We visited the University of Tartu where our science teacher Kristel works. There were some students who did different experiments for us and after that we were separeted into two groups and the groups went to a different workshops. The workshop where I was, we needed to build a strong spagetti bridge and my team got the second place. After thet we had some shopping time and then we went back home.

Tuesday 24th was they day when they left at 7:30. It was sad to see her go, because I had such a great time, it was great to talk with someone and I'm glad that I got a new friend.

:)

I think the student's exchange is a very cool experience for everyone and I'm so happy that it's in our school, many schools don't have it. I really hope this project never ''dies'' in this school.
